Ms. Hess recently failed in helping our elderly mother with an existing family trust/trust administration. I would rate her competence and legal knowledge at a ONE. My mother believed that Ms. Hess initially was helping her obtain an EIN#, but 6 weeks later and two invoices billed, we learn that there was no EIN # ever requested when my mother had previously sat in her office with her at her PC...and that my mother could do it herself on the IRS website for FREE, which is what we ended up doing.
