DO NOT USE HIM FOR ELDER TRUST! I have no idea who's leaving positive reviews on him but this guy scammed my wife's family. He was paid in full to file a trust with all assets in their aunts name, he gave them paperwork that everything was completed, and 3 years later they found out that their aunts house was never included in the trust. He ignored all follow up calls and emails. Absolutely do not trust this grifter.
This law office is completely unhelpful and unprofessional. Lamkin completely ripped us off and took money from my senior aunt to protect her assets after she passed away. Unfortunately after she passed, we found that he did everything incorrectly and we still had to go through and pay for probate which she explicitly paid to avoid. He completely avoided all communication from us and had no explanation for why he didn’t do what my aunt paid for.
My family hired this lawyer for our 92 year old aunt to avoid probate when she passed and to update our power of attorney. He sent us 40 pages of legal documentation and charged us over $5,000... After our aunt passed years later, we went to sell the house and discovered that Lamkin did not do what needed to be done to avoid probate at all. Mr. Lamkin will sell you a bag of dog shit and try to make you happy you bought it. Needed to open an ancillary probate in NY for a CO-OP after my mom had passed in another state. Mr. Lamkin filed the initial petition with the court in December 2024. The court responded the following month, Jan. 2025, requesting additional information and documentation.
