I heard about Aida Doss Havel from Legal Aid. I called them desperate because I had seen three other attorneys and not only was I not getting answers, I was not treated the best. I was an emotional wreck. I didn't sleep over a few hours a night for a month. Mrs. Havel was wonderful. I do not recommend Aida Doss-Havel as an attorney. Please do not waste your time and money. We had a 1 hour consultation with Ms. Havel hoping to become more educated on the matter, but instead we left with the exact information that we already knew, except we were our $200. She spent half the asking questions about our situations (which makes sense), then she made a phone call during the consultation which infact resulted in her being on hold for about 10 min. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR $ – I switched divorce attorneys in midstream so to speak because a year into my divorce I still had no child support that I could count on. Aida assured me that she would address that immediately. A year later, even tho the divorce is over I am still getting no child support. I am also saddled with a $16,000 debt. This was a lien against property that I got in the divorce on a loan that did not even have my signature on it -only the ex signed the original loan. There are much Better Ones than Her! – Aida Doss Havel, whom I hired during my separation and divorce. She puts folks down. When I did not feel comfortable with her (just to see if we could approach my husband) she talked down to me. What I did not know is that she was running for Judge in Wake County. Best Family Law attorney in town! – I highly recommend Aida Doss Havel! All of the attorneys I contacted were sky high- just for a simple divorce, with the exception of Mrs. Havel.
