Douglas T. Floyd is as crooked as the day is long! He's a liar and a thief because he does NOT provide the services he charges people for. A legitimate lawyer makes money from providing services and WINNING cases. This creep rakes in money by ripping of his own clients and then threatening to sue them!! Do not use these thief to post your bond. Mr. Floyd charged me $1800.00 to be released from Plano jail on a write bond. Out of the $1800.00, $500.00 was for the bond itself. So I paid Mr. Floyd $1300.00 to post my bond. That is fine. The problem is once my court decision was made final and I was told my $500.00 bond would be issued back to me, he told me I would never see a penny of that money and he did not owe me anything. This attorney is a scum bag. I would not use this attorney for anything. He led us to believe he would take care of a matter for a certain fee, then two months later he sent us an inflated bill. Plus he wanted another 1500.00 for a retainer. When we did not have any more money to pay him, he withdrew from the case.
