I wanted this to be great but they oversold the Youtube camp and delivered nothing. The kids are supposed to have 30s intro and showcase videos of their "channel" etc that they built in class - on a USB. End of camp - no USB. Contact camp they claim they sent them home on a lanyard but "sometimes the kids take them off." Why give a USB to 1st graders? When they claim they found it, the USB was blank. 4 weeks later they "download" the files again and there's no audio and no intro video. We spent thousands to send our child to... read more
My 7 year old is attending Lavner NYU and we just had a terrifying experience. As other commenters mentioned, Lavner is not the best on kid safety. When bad things happen to your child, they look to cover themselves instead of resolving the actual safety issues. My son was in the robotics camp and received an eye injury. Another child dropped their metal robot on his head. If the injury had been a few centimeters higher, it would have taken out his eye. I asked to see the space so I can judge how safe it is and they ... read more

Lavner's web site is impressive.. misleadingly. My 7-year-old daughter's coding 101 instructor got sick after the first day and didn't return. No biggie except that her replacement was so incompetent, not only did my daughter privately complain to me, the instructor independently declared himself unfit for the role. Two of five days instruction were lost and the camp apparently had the kids playing video games to kill time - something I would let me daughter do at home let alone pay around $200 a day for. I thought I was bei... read more
My son has been attending Lavner camp since he was in elementary school. He loves to go regardless of the learning format (in person or virtual). He has been attending Chess, Math, Minecraft, Lego, Robotic, Coding and Leadership programs every years. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. It is such a magical place that my son never wants to leave when I arrive to pick him up and that makes me very happy to see how much he enjoys it! I wish there was a word bigger than "Thanks Lavner" for providing such a wo... read more
The best camp we have attended. Highly recommend!
Love this camp! My kids and their friends all go and it never disappoints. So many innovative options and great people on site. I wish they did programs all year long so we could attend.
My youngest is finally old enough to attend and he cannot wait to go. He asks me every day if summer is here yet! We can't wait for another amazing summer.
Great camp from start to finish. Last year was our first summer at camp and it did not disappoint. Kids were happy each day and I knew they were safe and having fun.
Lavner Camps is the best camp around. The quality of their programming and amazing staff they have at camp make it a no-brainer. I always want to give my kids the best possible experiences, and Lavner Camps is it. I highly recommend Lavner Camps to families who want their kids to learn important skills and have a fantastic experience doing so. There is nothing better than picking up your smiling kids and having them share everything they learned at camp.
Lavner Summer Camp has a 4.3 star rating with 60 reviews.
