Dr. Lavit is one of the best TI 's if not the best in the state...... Dr. Lavit didn't get to were he's at with his experience and AWARDS for not knowing what he's doing. Dr. Lavit is well respected by the courts and judges. He was our first TI for our son's custody battle. Dr. Lavit was very perforsinal, detailed, and all about the well being of the child. Megg Ron has a wife, Rachel that has cheated on him the reason why he waivers from being supportive to women or men. He is a nice man but depending on his mood swings and his relationship issues at home will depend on the outcome.
Dr. Lavit is one of the best, if not the best Parent Coordinator in the state. He was my third PC and my last hope. He saw right through the BS my ex was trying to get him to believe. He saw what was right for my kids. He put in place methods for my ex and I to co-parent and communicate in way that was stress-free and easy to do. His secretary was on top of all the e-mails, phone calls and followed through with Dr. Lavit with our concerns and issues. Best in the State Dr. Lavit was court appointed to be the PC for my ex and I. Given our high level of conflict, we needed someone who could see through the BS, navigate us through co-parenting and give us guidance on how to raise our kids in two homes. Dr. Lavit set perimeters on communication (as my ex LOVED to excessively e-mail and text me.) and listened to all our concerns individually then together. He even had sessions with my kids and took their feelings and desires into consideration (which is most important.)
In my opinion there is no higher priority than co-parenting and communicating effectively for the sake of your children. As a result, when conflicts arise between parents they need to entrust in a parenting coordinator that will successfully guide them in a direction with the best interest of their children in mind. Very Strange Office I believe Ron was a very good psychologist in the past but he is older and he spends the majority of time traveling (from what I can tell). The attorney's that use him receive the results they want so he will be in demand.
YOU'LL BE SORRY AND POORER Dr. Lavit may be a great guy to go out and talk about world events, but if you use him for any court related stuff beware. He's all about money. I am impressed with his accomplishments and he will pontificate about his recent or many trips all on your dime. In his waiting room it was kind of expected that you wait and since I was there on court business I smiled and took it.
