The lady who took my blood was super lovely and made me feel at ease. I’m normally hard person to get blood out of but she got it first go.
Severe needle phobe here. I came here this morning after leaving Douglass Hanly Moir in East Maitland because they made me feel pressured and uncomfortable. I was so relieved by the way Kelly listened and managed the situation. Amongst other needle horror stories, I once held up Maitland Hospital’s operating theatre for 2.5 hours. I carry an information sheet about my phobia and Kelly took the time to understand my needs well. It was the quickest and easiest needle experience I’ve ever had.
