Not good. The young guy doing the blood collection couldn’t get my vein after trying two different spots, spent the whole time digging around in my arm until I said don’t worry I’ll have to go somewhere else. He also didn’t seem confident and was standoffish in his body language and technique. The pathology clinic was also very outdated and old. Would avoid going here unfortunately.
I need to frequently go for pathology test and have found Laverty to be my favorite. Their hours are very suitable, accessibility for me is good and I like the staff. Usually my specialist gets the results the next day.
This collection centre did not appear to be a clean, organised or sterile location. I would not have my procedures conducted here in future unless the collection rooms were deep cleaned and updated/renovated.
I had a urine and blood test on the 15th December 2025 in Wallsend Newcastle. I was assured my doctor would have the results by the 19th December. It is now the 29th December and my doctor still hasn't received the results. I have emailed and not received an answer and there is no way of contacting them by phone. Not impressed.
