I attended on Saturday around midday and the process was smooth overall. I was asked to take a number and wait; the wait was short, and the staff member who collected my blood was polite and professional. Communication throughout was clear. My only concern was the waiting room environment. I understand the space is shared with other practices, but on a hot day the air conditioning did not seem adequate, which made the wait uncomfortable.
Don’t bother. Poor time management, waited 50+ minutes for a simple blood test, and they only got through one patient in that time. The lady in line before me had been waiting close to 90 minutes. Longest I’ve ever had to wait at any pathology.
I would like to raise a concern about my experience today, 31/10. I left my workplace earlier to come for my blood test, as the advertised afternoon collection times are from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. I arrived at approximately 4:18 pm, took a number, and waited to be called. However, after a while, the staff informed me that I could not be attended because it was already too late, even though it was still before 4:30 pm.
