Closed in Dec 2025 with no indication of this. Blood tests are essential services and timing matters, often people have fasted or taken leave from work to have them so this is a disservice to patients. Communicate your opening hours and alternative collection centres please.
What a horrible experience dealing with the person taking bloods. Firstly, the receptionists at the ground floor of the medical centre (8.30am 12 Aug 2025) were horrid (if you hate your job, quit - you’re at the receptionist area to help patients navigate this poor signed medical centre and not to socialise with each other) - both were hopeless in giving directions to Laverty Pathology on the first floor. Came here for an NIPT only to be made to feel like s#1+ by Cristina (the lady who takes the blood). She interrogated me as to why I wanted to know the gender of my unborn child and went on to blab about the story of how I should be grateful to have a child. Then starts to blab how her and her husband tried for x years to fall pregnant and that me trying for "only 7 months" was "nothing" compared to what she went through. The Nurse was so lovely - made you feel at ease. She was quick and efficient and we had a laugh. Such a beautiful person.
