The careless Indian staff member who processed my payment for the blood tests also submitted the same service to Medicare as bulk billed under identical item numbers, and I was issued a further invoice for it which I paid. This duplicate billing caused issues with Medicare, requiring several weeks of follow up with Laverty Accounts before the refund was finally processed after a month.
Unreliable and understaffed. Laverty are so hopeless I would never use them again. This was taken today (Friday) at 8:20am. They’re not opening today apparently. Use another company’s pathology services. Laverty don’t care about their customers.
This Laverty Kingston Pathology never ever opens at the scheduled time. Never! They suppose to open at 730, it says so on the door, website, and they are always late 20-30 mins minimum. Don’t waste time on these guys. Go somewhere else.
The care I received was excellent. However I observed a single staff member trying to attend a full waiting room with even more people arriving and often leaving. The staff member appeared tired and overwhelmed by the sheer volume of people. Despite this she was professional, polite and paid attention to detail. Please look after your staff better Laverty!
I never thought I would have to write a review for a blood test but here we are. I went here not feeling the best and left feeling worse. Upon entering the empty clinic, the phlebotomist proceeded to interrogate me about almost every single test listed. I mean interrogated - not politely asked to get a bit more info. From fasting hours/time of dinner (it was early afternoon we arrived), she counted hours on her hands, told me it was too long, to glucose, to B12 "not eligible, there's a criteria - you have to pay.
