Laverton Pathology is an essential service for a large community and its very good location. Parking is easy. So we need funding to ensure this vital service is funded as many are now seniors and cannot travel to other locations. So they are at Jenke circuit, Kambah.
Had my blood taken for testing on 21/3/26. Technician on duty did really well and blood collection was quick and smooth. However the technician could benefit from a customer handling training. He got upset when I politely asked if they had missed my number, since a person that I saw take a number after me was called in first. I realise that I might have been wrong, and just wanted to confirm. I did not expect his upset reaction over a simple question to clarify, given that I’ve been waiting in line for an hour.
Staff at Kambah we're friendly, completed blood tests without issue in a timely manner. Small waiting room and located inside the Kambah GP with only a single collection space. At the same time they incorrectly preformed an ECG test (incorrect electrode placement and didn't inform me when the recording as happening resulting in artifacts and a poor ECG trace).
