When they are actually open they’re great. But every time lately I’ve been there, they’re just not open. I now know to look for the flag out the front and if it’s not up then I know no one is there. Not even a note on the door to say closed today. Terrible service. I now drive to broadmedow and have to go past Georgetown to get there and they say the collections person isn’t working today for whatever reason. Such terrible service from Laverty. I turned up at 7am to have a fasting blood test before heading to work. Door was locked despite it supposedly opening at 7am. I waited 30 min outside, and ended up leaving to find another pathology lab. Horrendous service. They shouldn't be allowed to operate if they can't provide a minimum level of service.
Website states it opens at 7am, turned up at 7.50am and the gate was padlocked.
Highly recommend particularly if it’s a fasting test as the open early. Easy to find and staff were great
The girl who took my blood did an amazing job, however I am concerned for staff safety as their has only ever been one girl working on her own. On this particular day there was a man in the waiting area that made me feel a little uneasy, which made me wonder how one staff member could handle a situation with a difficult customer if it arose.
