Came to my home to get bloodwork on my semi feral dog. The dog had to be sedated because of her intense fear of strangers, and in the process, my terrified dog peed and pooped all over herself, and the whole process was traumatizing for everyone involved. We were vacationing in the Hillsboro area when our dog had an encounter with 'something' - a bee, a horsefly....we don't know. It was 8pm, we were 60 miles from home, and his face was swelling very quickly. I came across LAVender Vet Services on google, and left Dr. Swanson a message. She returned my call quickly, guided us on what would work best for Petey, and she was spot on. I am so appreciative for her help - she was a life saver! 5 stars are not enough! My first experience with LAVender was okay, even though it took her several weeks of emails and phone calls to get back to me. Post pandemic, I didn’t have many options. My first experience with her was okay. The second experience was awful. She called me 15 min after my scheduled time demanding to know why I wasn’t answering my door… it’s because she was at the wrong house. I adopted two kittens from a local shelter and they were both neutered by this veterinarian. Both kittens had infected incision sites and were taken to the emergency vet multiple times days after adoption. It was shared with us by another vet that the procedure was done incorrectly and is glad we brought him in when we did as his infection easily could have led to sepsis. DO NOT bring your pets here.
