Run away from this woman, I won't even call her a laywer. She listened to the other lawyer in the hallway and agreed to everything the other lawyer said. She told me at court that same day in the hallway that there was nothing she could do when I lost my child support. I had explained my issue that my son was being lied to and my x-husband was making my son feel bad about our visitations so he chose to not come over 10 minute drive (age 16.) My experience echos many of the reviews given in the last year. She did not stand up for me wirh friend of the court, had nothing prepared, couldnt prpnounce my childs name correctly, and gave completely false information making me look ridiculous. Please look elsewhere.
I hired Laurie after I had been brutally beaten by my husband. He was incarcerated and charged with aggravated assault with intent to do great bodily harm. He was abusive to my children and I was finally getting away. Laurie assured me I had nothing to worry about and that she was going to fight for me. She looked me dead in the eyes and promised me that she would fight for my children. Everything she said to me that day, made me feel great! I finally found someone who was going to fight for me.
