UPDATE - A year later a response from the owner. And just like working with them during the build, their response is for me to reach out to them because they have no accountability. UPDATE: The response from the builder a full year later is honestly laughable. If they truly cared about standing behind the “dream home” they promised us when we first met, they would have reached out directly by phone or email long ago, not with a generic response on a Google review. After the experience we had during the build and the thousands we’ve had to spend fixing issues ourselves, this response feels more like reputation management than a genuine attempt to make things right. If you’re thinking of building DO NOT hire Laurie Homes. Take a moment and do your research, read reviews, check out BBB website, look up their old company and their reviews. Do all your research, don’t take only my word look at what everyone else has to say about this company. My house was completed 8 months past our contract date (no new contract was ever signed), so builder was in breach of his contract. Use caution and avoid this company, they built for my friend and gave them continuous problems, a brand new home is now needing new construction to fix problems they caused! Make sure to check their court records especially Monroe County as they are currently being sued by multiple families.
