Saw Dr. Saben for a couple years, he listens and really tries to help adjust meds to get balanced
dr. saben is the only doctor who stabilized me for paranoid schizophrenia, now I function normally in the community, I have a job and have been doing well ever since.
kind cool collected, he's a smart doctor and should win an award, a neat guy who changed my life and stabilized me. He should get all my young friends I know for a doctor he's a really good guy.
I have been seeing Dr. Saben for many years. He has helped me immensely with what was debilitating anxiety, depression and PTSD. He has a very kind and caring manner, and I'd recommend him to anyone. I dread the day he retires!
Dr. Saben was my doctor for many years. The only reason he is no longer my doctor is because I moved to a different state. He is kind, very knowledgeable and made me feel that he was always there for he if I needed him.
Caring, responsive doctor – Dr. Saben is friendly and caring, if rather abrupt or straight to the point, as others have mentioned. He takes the time to listen and ask the questions he needs to prescribe the medication that will help you, and he follows you carefully. He does not provide therapy sessions; however, he'll recommend it when needed, as he did with me. Good Shrink This guy is a little rough around the edges but is a very capable shrink nonetheless. He comes off as little abrupt when you first meet him, but i think that is just to sort out the people who are serious about getting his help, because he can help you and will.
Great doctor if you know what you need – Dr. Saben is an excellent doctor. Admittedly, he does seem a bit abrupt at first but once you're comfortable with him you realize it's just his demeanor. If you take the time to tell him your issues, he will take the time to listen. I think the problem is that many people find his initial presentation a little short and not terribly people-oriented. I wasnt looking for a drug dealer, I was looking for a good doctor, and was open to options other than drugs. But he asked the questions of past medications and didnt give me a chance. I called Dr. Laurence in hopes of finding a new Doctor. When he ask about my past perscriptions, I told him what I had taken. He abruptly said, "I dont give that stuff out, youll have to find someone else,good luck" and hung up.
