Please avoid this medical practice at all costs. The customer service is awful. They over charge you for the office visit after waiting months to get in. Or they just call and cancel the day before. When you actually get to go to the appointment the doctor expects you to call and find a pharmacy that will have the prescription you are needing. Save yourself the headache and find a better primary care physician.
This was my second visit to Dr. Powell this year and I will not be returning. As a business professional who’s been in healthcare for 20 years, I was disappointed in her attitude and how I was treated just recently. Dr. Powell is hands down the best primary care doctor I’ve ever had. She’s patient, attentive, and actually listens. She takes her time, asks thoughtful questions, and always follows up, which makes you feel truly cared for. What I really appreciate is how creative she is when it comes to care; she thinks about what will actually work for you. It’s rare to find a doctor who blends expertise, compassion, and real partnership the way she does. I’m so grateful to have found her.
