She very quickly looked at my ears and told me to take Sudafed. She did not spend adequate time looking into my ears or getting to the root cause of the problem.

I left today feeling like a fool. I did not feel listened too. I’m pretty used to it as I suffer from a disease that doesn’t have many answers about. I had better luck not going to a “specialist”. I just want heard or a doc that at least acts like it. I do my own research because I have too, this is why. You bring your research to a doctor and hope they help you. I was seated at the time of my visit and told by assistant that she had a procedure that ran late and was told she was grabbing lunch and it would be 10-15 minutes and she came in actually 30 minutes late and didn’t even apologize and spent 20 minutes for an initial consultation that I have to pay out of my pocket. I left with questions unaddressed. But she did include me in the decision making about my care. I always have such excellent experiences at Vancouver Clinic.
