I have been a patient for over 10 years. Dr. Riggins has always treated me like family as she does her other patients. She takes her time and listens to your concerns and she addresses them. Always kind and friendly.
I was a patient of Dr. Lauren E. Riggins at Atrium. At no point during my appointments did she ever tell me that she performs surgeries at Novant. One night, I received a late call from her office saying that my test results had come back and I needed emergency surgery. I immediately drove to Atrium ER, thinking that’s where it would take place. When I called Dr. Riggins from the Atrium ER, she told me to come to Novant ER instead. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to!
Dr. Riggins is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and makes you feel like an important patient rather than just a number. Everyone at her office is welcoming and responsive. I’ve been seeing her for over 5 years and I tell everyone that she saved my life twice (seriously) and my daughter’s when she was born via emergency c-section. I genuinely feel like this type of care is rare and can’t say enough about how much I value her as a medical professional.
