Definitely research her licensure and disciplinary actions. She is unprofessional and rude. Disgusting language. As a professional, her choice to use the 'F' word is disturbing. She herself states that she doesn't like to get out of bed in the morning. I think she needs professional help.
Negative reviews are accurate. She is very unprofessional, rude and impolite. She needs to take care of her own issues before trying to help others. After few sessions it seemed like I was the therapist. Horrible Provider.
Simply put: If you value a healthy growing relationship with your children, dont go near this person. Completely unprofessional. Horrible parental advice and only enables bad behaviour from kids. Has no idea how to properly foster healthy children/parental relationships. Shoots from the hip. Makes bad situations worse....and even if you dont believe these reviews...please err on the side of caution for your children's sake. Run from this person. Find someone else for your precious children to talk to.
Dr Shapiro expresses herself with professionalism and integrity. She is comfortable to talk to and I look forward to my treatment.
Was not helpful. Charged an extra $25 on last session and when contacted about it, was completely ignored. Unprofessional and a complete hack and in this professional quite a dangerous combination. Will be filing a formal complaint with the California Board of Psychology.
