Dr. Zatarain is a kind and compassionate oncologist. She definitely stays up on the latest treatments and their application. She put me on the newest within months of its publication in medical journals after my lst line failed.She listens closely and addresses each, and every issue, obviously extremely intelligent and critical thinker, which is what I want in a healthcare provider. At the same time she allows me to weigh in on my care plan. If I could give her more stars I would.
Dr. Z has been seeing me since I was diagnosed with low iron and has been incredibly kind, patient, and articulate with her feedback. Although I’m not feeling my best, she still encourages and reassures me of best practices for improvement. Grateful she’s part of my care team.
Dr. Zatarain has been a phenomenal doctor through my cancer journey. During my very first appointment she sat with me for over an hour writing notes to share. She has been very compassionate and knowledgable and I am grateful for her guidance and expertise.
