just right down the road past the warming hut is a beautiful little pond.

we parked at the warming hut and walked a bit back up the road to Loop Trail. walked on that for a bit and it ends at a road, maybe a maintenance road? the day we were out was a cold rainy January day. having that wider road was a bit easier for our walk, since it was so muddy. the woods around us were magical with fog.
