If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been to a more insensitive doctor. Being made to feel low about yourself when having women issues. I couldn’t imagine being a new pregnant mom to be and being made to feel so bad. Then when insurance might not be excepted getting no help at all for a new referral and being told to do your own research for something serious that you’d want a doctors opinion for. They clearly don't care nor want to help.
Dr. Santino is very professional and knowledgeable. She is an excellent OBGYN. Her office staff is very professional and welcoming as well.
If I could give a negative star review I would. I went in to discuss a DNC that I needed to have immediately. She belittled me for my weight and told me I shouldn't have children. I already realized that I was overweight and we weren't discussing me getting pregnant at any point in the near future. I sobbed in her room. She was cold, cruel and heartless in talking with me. I had to have an emergency DNC (NOT PREGNANCY RELATED) and refused to go back to her after that. I still tell everyone I can to not go to see her. She is ... read more
I wouldn’t trust her to deliver my dogs puppies let alone another one of my children. Her nurse threw my baby back in the crib when I asked her to put him back in for me so I could sit up after having a c-section, after that she huffed out of the room and then dr santino came in and asked how I was doing and told me I needed to start doing things for myself and not relying on others for help… 24 hours after having surgery. Worst place ever, please go someplace else.
“It is what it is”. This is the response this doctor gave me when I found out my baby had Spina Bifida and could potentially not make it. This response was completely heartless and unprofessional as a doctor. The week prior to this, I was being asked if I wanted to abort my child or take the risks and when I returned to her office, I feel like I was treated like complete trash. For her to be an OBGYN all these years and to have absolutely no emotion towards myself or my baby makes me question everything about her professions... read more
