Dr Santino was a wonderful Dr. throughout my pregnancy. However, I do remember being a bit upset when I had insurance and they were really pressing that I get Medicaid as a secondary to pay for it all in the end. I had never before had Medicaid and pay my bills . I ended up getting it since she was so highly recommended at the time . Have seen Dr. Santino 3 times and each time I question her competence more and more.
Newly pregnant. Scared and worried. Called office for a new patient appointment. Received a call back next day and all they were concerned with was how I was going to pay for the delivery. I gave insurance info and they advised my deductible was really high. I have a good job and was not worried about paying, just wanted some labs done to confirm pregnancy. Office advised they needed to get approval from Dr due to my deductible. Did not hear back for 2 days then a call late at night
