The photo they show of the brand new building has been completely un-used since being built. I've inquired about this and they claim they cannot find enough staff to justify opening it and using it. I have a sneaking suspicion if they paid their employees more per hour, they could retain them for longer. While visiting my step-mom, several of the CNAs/RA's also told me they are not allowed to have drinking water/cups on the floor or even behind the nurses station to drink while they are working. It was a very pleasant place to be while recovering. I was at assistant living for 7.mo. plus 6mo. At Shady Lane. All the staff did there best to help me. Would go back again.
