A hidden gem. Easy to get to and a must if you are in the area! The staff and the tour guide were very nice. I believe in another review somebody mentioned that these were not the most impressive caverns they have been in but when you consider these were mostly filled with sand and silt and were hand dug and are still being dug out, I was impressed! We also took the self guided tour. I'm an older guy and had no issues, but, if you have mobility issues I wouldn't recommend it.
Great place to spend a couple hours. Wear sneakers or boots. Seriously. I didn’t and paid the price. Anyway, for the low price there’s plenty to do. We panned for gems and got a good workout in walking up and down the caverns.
Amazing cave experience. They even let you walk around without a guide!
I had fond memories of this place from when I was in grade school. Took. My children to it this year and it did not disappoint.
