The person working the register told me he could not ring anything up because it was closing time, which it certainly was not. I asked him what they were going to do with the 8 baguettes behind him on display, and he told me they would most likely be THROWN OUT. I asked in that case if he could give me one, as why should it go to waste needlessly? He informed me it was AGAINST THE RULES. Also... $8.70 for a baguette?!?! It's half that price at Brooklyn French Bakers.
The stuff here is good, but the pricing is out of control. Just got the curry puff. At the price there’s nothing inside the puff. I got like 1-2 tiny pieces of potato and a piece of carrot. I know the response is oh please come back to let us fix this… but if the owner intended for this to be a good value or even be a proper item at this price I wouldn’t be writing that there was nothing inside the curry puff to begin with. The pistachio mortadella danish was so good. Latte was money too
Stopped by Laurel Barry otw home from work to grab some pastries for my sister who was out shoveling snow, and it honestly made my day. The girl working the counter was so helpful, kind, patient, and thoughtful 🫶 Everything I got was incredible: the mortadella & Gruyère pistachio croissant, monkey bread, and speculoos bun were all insanely good.
