Daisy and Dori completely ignore us when we walk in to drop them off. They've been going to Laurel Acres for years and are excited every time we drop them off. They come home clean and happy. It's their vacation at the doggie spa!
We love this place! The staff is amazingly friendly and accommodating. Our pets always come home happy!
Our two very special needs, rescue doggies do very well at Laurel Acres - we love the staff and know that, when we are out of town, our two pups will be safe and will be treated very well. In the past, Laurel Acres , has also taken care of our Guinea pigs... Great staff and we will continue to use them I the future!!
I kenneled my dogs overnight for the 1st time last week and everything seemed to go well, however seven days later they both developed kennel cough even though they were vaccinated. They are both young and healthy so hopefully they will get over it quickly. A little disappointed if I knew that would happen I would have stayed home and not taken them to the kennel.

Hi Patsy, We are so sorry to hear that Abby & Dixie are not feeling well :( Unfortunately the bordetella vaccination does not cover all strains of kennel cough so even the healthiest pet can end up with it. Just like when you get a cold, a little TLC and some medication and they should feeling better in no time!
I was a bit nervous to leave our pet pig while we went out of town, but as soon as I walked through the facility and met the girls that would be caring for Luci all my worries went away. They truly love what they do, and you can tell. They all took such good care of her and loved her as if she were their own. I truly felt like we were leaving her with family! I will never board her anywhere else, Laurel Acres is the absolute best! Thank you all so much and Luci will be back soon!
I worked at LAK for a short time and even though I live almost an hour away, I wouldn't board my dogs anywhere else. I know the employees actually care about the animals, treat them like their own, and always do their best to do exactly what is requested of them!
