I left Laureate Medical Sandy Springs with a peripheral nerve injury this week - an injury caused by their medical team that could easily have been minimized or avoided. I was there for a blood draw for lab tests. As soon as the distracted, dismissive phlebotomist inserted the needle in my arm to draw blood, it felt like a burning, painful electric shock shot down my arm and into my thumb and fingers. People are nice, helpful, and overall make this Providers are a mixed bag. Dr. Qureshi is a wonderful neurologist. Dr. Heaner seemed compassionate and knowledgeable- then stabbed me in the back by abandoning me as my body began to disintegrate to the point of leaving me weak enough I’m increasingly stuck in bed.
Beyond grateful for all of the nurses, front office staff and doctors at Laureate. Alpharetta and Atlanta offices are both outstanding.
This relates to their sleep study group You will wait two months just to talk to a doctor to explain your problem. You will wait another month to pick up your equipment. Doctor told me to make sure I got a follow up with him within two weeks of the study. However he is not available to see me EVEN by television for FIVE MONTHS.
