Pick another place, any other place! The wait in the office for the nurse was 30 min, then the doctor was incredibly short with me and did not seem to care. I have been a patient of Laureate Medical Group for almost 15 yrs. When I consider that, it doesn't seem possible. I truly love Dr. Lefkovitz. She is incredibly gifted intellectually & w/personality so suited for her profession. In addition, her staff & the staff of the practice is truly professional, knowledgeable, kind & helpful. Caroline Aveitt, Dr. Lefkovitz' assistant is professional, knowledgeable, kind & so very helpful. I'm a fairly new patient at Laureate. It's impossible to get through to ANYBODY who cares at all about giving me correct information. The crew members who answered the phones were rude as hell and didnt care about anything except gettting off the phone. A message was left on my phone that the doctor wanted me to get a CAT scan before my appointment. I returned the call days ago and still haven't heard back. Been going to this practice for over 20 years. Love Dr. Wender, but she’s retiring. Got a recommendation for a doctor at the East Cobb location, but she’s not taking transfer patients. Can you believe?? So I’m gonna leave Laureate. I’m over all their BS. The other reviewers are correct and don’t even tell you all the problems you would experience w Laureate - It all really began when they were bought out by Northside Hospital……
