I REALLY LIKED DR. SANTORO AS MY PRIMARY & SHE HAS BEEN MY DOCTOR FOR YEARS ,BUT HONESTLY OVER THE LAST YEAR THINGS HAVE CHANGED , I NO LONGER GET QUALITY CARE ,I've had sleeping issues for over 3 years (EVERY NIGHT) WE HAVE TRIED ANTI DEPRESSANTS , SLEEPING PILLS ,SUPPLEMENTS ,DIET CHANGES , CHANGING OF MULTIPLE SLEEPING HABITS ,CHANGING OF EXERCISE HABITS all to no avail. I'm sure she's fine if you have run-of-the-mill issues, but her ability to think outside the box is poor. Her listening skills are also very poor. She always acts as if the patient is mistaken or lying if the answers she receives are not what she wants to hear. Her ability to identify possible underlying causes is extremely poor. She also never follows up. The office staff is not good. They have a "not my problem" attitude. The nurses are good though. Since transferring to this doctor a few years ago, my health has significantly declined. She refused to continue treatment that kept me stable, and now that my health is in freefall, I have been unable to get through to her that my situation is nearing the point where I will be completely disabled. She has no empathy, she's judgmental, and has no real intellectual curiosity. Her approach is purely business, and the clinic is very McHealthcare.
