Laura was recommended to me by a family friend, and she is an absolute magician! I couldn't be happier with how she took care of my dress. She does her alterations out of her home studio, and it is incredibly clean and inviting. My dress was a bit unique with a lace overlay and a crinoline cage underneath, making it a bit tricky to bustle, but Laura pulled our her creativity and made color coded ribbons for my bridesmaids to easily find. Laura took on shortening my wedding dress and totally re-fitting/tailoring my bridal sari blouse a few short weeks before my wedding. She was so gracious and warm and did a fantastic and amazingly fast job. I could not recommend her more highly! I returned to Laura about a year after my wedding to see if she could help alter my wedding dress for re-wear. I feel truly so lucky to have found Laura to do my wedding dress alterations. She was very easy to work with, incredibly communicative and very very skilled at her craft. She is very professional and precise, making sure you are comfortable and happy with any changes along the way! I highly highly recommend going to Laura for your wedding gown alterations!
Laura was so wonderful and easy to work with from the initial booking to my final fitting. She sent appointment reminders Including not to forget my shoes, which was much appreciated! My dress was absolutely perfect when she was done, I didn’t worry about needing to pull it up at any point during the night, and she had a great system for when the time comes to bustle the train on the dress as well.
