I received outstanding care from Dr. Palazzolo and her excellent staff. Her knowledge and skill of what she does was obvious, but I also was comforted by sensing how much she cared. This was a wonderful experience for me.
My elderly mother-in-law came to see her as a new patient. We live 30-40 min away, was caught in some traffic and arrived to the appt **21 min late** (according to front desk, but my MIL told me she was literally waiting at the desk to check in for 5 min before she took her info) Apparently she has a 20 min late policy and doesn't see a patient after. We could not be happier with both Dr Palazzolo and the entire team. My husband and I just transferred from SightMD; the difference is night and day (SightMD provided zero service orientation, an assembly-line approach, interminable wait times, and shocking indifference when one of us had an emergency. Our experience thus far with Dr Palazzolo is the opposite-- very competent, caring, organized, and professional in all respects.). We both feel we are in the best of hands now.
Dr Palazzolo is smart, compassionate and kind. She takes time to listen and allows patient to be part of the solution. This type of bedside manner is rare, if not impossible to find! I recommend her wholeheartedly as an amazing physician. You will be in great hands!
I had a very disappointing experience. She didn’t return my calls when I needed her advice, and the treatment she prescribed did more harm than good. She recommended strong antibiotic drops that burned the skin around my eye. When I told her about the burning & swelling, she still insisted I continue using it. My eye ended up so swollen that I had to go to the ER, where they confirmed that the medication was too strong. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone looking for attentive and careful eye care.
