I used to LOVE this vet when they were the Gene Poole Memorial Cat Clinic. However, please be warned that this clinic has been bought out by a corporate company who has been proven to use unethical practices. It happened to me and my vet at Maplewood Animal Hospital confirmed that their approach to care was "shocking". This is a nice place to take your cat(s). Many of the staff members are exceptional and kind to work with. (Shout out to Stacey, a really sharp staff member!) I want to highlight the professionalism and care that Dr. Emily Knopf has provided to my cats since last Dec. Very disappointed with this clinic. The last two appointments we had they took us back into the room and 10 minutes later we see the Dr. arrive at the clinic, she wasn’t even on the premises at the time we were scheduled. Twice! By the time she enters the room it’s 15 minutes after our appointment start time. At our last visit the Tech came back with our after visit summary and just cracked the door and shoved it at me then let the door close as it fluttered to the ground. These are lovely, kind, warm, friendly, very wise and knowledgeable feline specialists! From the soft lighting and cozy atmosphere, to the communication with all team members, and the incredible encouraging education from Dr. Noe, my kitties and I left knowing we are in great, caring hands! I even got an awesome kitten claw trim and how-to lesson! The whole staff does all they can to make sure you are ready and prepared for rescue kitten life. I feel confident that my sweet little ones are happy and healthy!
This is the place to take your cats for excellent, compassionate, informed care. They even have boarding, which helped us out a lot when there was over-the-top loud construction happening at my flat! I love the staff at the Chuckanut Feline Center!
