I saw Dr. Kaye today. She was absolutely useless. I went in for migraines the week before my period. She didn't want to do bloodwork to see where I was hormone wise. She couldn't give me a triptan med for migraines. I had an appointment with a neurologist also but I was covering all bases. I am a nurse. I know what us in their scope of medicine. She also told me she doesn't start hrt therapy until your in menopause. Seriously get with the times. Oprah, Sherri sherpard.people with money all started while on a period.
The ultimate waste of time. If I could give a rating of -5 I would. Not sure who is at fault but making sure I arrived 20 minutes early to my scheduled way ahead of time appointment. Being brought to a room, gone over basic details with the nurse who instructed me to remove all of my clothing and put their paper gown on. Unfortunately left me there in the room for over a half hour just sitting, waiting for no one to perform my scheduled annual visit. This review is not for Dr. Kaye but for her sonographer Sylvia. I have never had to have an ultrasound before and this was my first time. I was literally scolded by Sylvia in a very unprofessional manner because I waited literally a day to get my blood drawn. She spoke down to me and told me that she couldn’t sleep because I didn’t get my blood done (when in fact I actually did) and appeared very judgmental to me. Dr. Kaye is a wonderful doctor. She’s compassionate and puts you at ease. I finally found the perfect gynecologist.
