I wish I could give zero stars. Dr. Esswein and their office are an absolute joke 🤡 What a complete waste of my time and money and I gained nothing from my appointment with this so called "allergist". Waited a month for my appointment after going into severe anaphylaxis and was dealing with chronic hives on my skin for the entirety of that month, losing sleep trying to find answers as to what caused my reaction. I have never missed an appointment anywhere. Staff was rude demanded a $10 credit card payment to discuss being a new client. Obviously not a true MD that gives a care about patient care. Sounds like someone who is out for their own buck! No thank you I will take my business elsewhere thank goodness I have choices. I am filing a complaint with the state insurance commissioner as well as my insurance. Good doctor but horrible billing policies. We were charged an additional $60 on top $175 office visit fee for what they call preventive counseling. This is something they apparently do every year just to give a new script for an epipen.
Dr Esswein is great, but have you tried to get an appointment in the last 6 months? Terrible, and the staff have become very nasty about it. Looking for a new allergist, not one appointment available over the summer months!
