★☆☆☆☆ – Launch Credit Union: dishonest, dismissive, and fact-averse. I applied for a home equity loan with Launch Credit Union, and what I experienced was negligent at best and deceptive at worst. My application was denied based on a completely inaccurate Automated Valuation Model (AVM) that claimed my home had 3 bedrooms and excluded a 350 sq ft fully finished, HVAC-connected Florida room — space that’s absolutely livable and part of the gross square footage. Angela and Veronica are the absolute best. They make every trip in easy and enjoyable.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been banking here for 15+ years and could not believe that they would not give me my money back on a fraud case. I explained the entire situation to them and said “sorry nothing we can do” even though they KNEW it was wrong. I lost ALL of the money in my account. Unfreakingbelievable. I am appalled and will absolutely be switching banks after all this time.
Big thanks to Keyla at the Merritt Island branch for helping me reopen and settle my accounts. She was great and made the process bearable.
