TL;DR - I don't recommend for EV charger installations - high prices and scammy $250 "inspection" fee. I was looking to get a 240v NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in my garage to charge an EV. I called Laughlin based on generally good reviews, albeit lacking ones about EV installation. He was very nice on the phone and said he had to do a precursor “inspection” of the wiring to ensure that it could handle this load for $250. Tried to call was having issues with my fuse box and was told it could be fixed if I could find a new box and fuses. Drove all the way to lowes and when I tried to see if It was correct wouldn't return my calls and wasted my time. Do not use they are very unprofessional.
Great guy, came out the same day i called and provided a great service at a very reasonable price. We will be usimg his company again.
