1 of 2 main launches for Candlewood lake. While this lot has so much potential, it is only getting worse. The ramp is falling apart, the water is silting in and you can expect to come close to a fight just trying to put your in or take it out on any given weekend due to the traffic.
Water level is low..and the concrete dock ( wich is just jersey barriers stick out under the water line and bang into your boat.
It’s free so that’s nice. Tons of parking but was almost full the day I was there. Expect to wait a hour or Maybe hours depending on when and what time you get there. I launch my boat from the bed of my truck so I was able to just zip around and park about 40ft from the launch and just carry it. There’s a nice shoreline to launch kayaks, canoes, and any other small boat that can be carried, carted, or dragged while avoiding the lines.
