My wife was admitted last Friday night... i followed them to hospital. Once all sorted they say they will come get me in 5min as they got a bed ready!!. 5hrs past and still nothing... i ended up sleeping in car outside emergency... get a phone call around 4am saying she has a bed finally... next day she couldn't eat the poor quality food so i brought her some quality food that i was allowed to bring in. Terribly uncaring
I have given up. In this region ther is no support even if you are on a DSP psychologists charge even WITH a mental health care plan. I can't get help. I have simply given up. Do not move to this region if you need help and support. You won't find it. I had one Tele health call from a psychiatrist who said move to Melbourne there is more support there. After that no options to see a psychiatrist again unless it was full cost with normal rebate yet there are no real psychiatrists available any way here. Just give up and don't... read more
