No objection to the care received (though it does seems incredibly difficult to get kids cleared of a potential food allergen). My issue is with the statement that they are covered by most insurances. We ultimately received bills of about $1000 per child (we took both our children) just for our initial visit with testing and a follow-up video visit to discuss results. Latitude Food Allergy Care in San Rafael is truly changing our daughter’s life. Dr. Royer and her staff are amazing, supportive, kind, and, most importantly they genuinely care. We highly recommend Latitude for OIT and any other food allergy needs.
Latitude (San Rafael) has been a great partner for my daughter on her food allergy journey. She has multiple anaphylactic food allergies that we’ve been doing oral immunotherapy for for the past 3.5 years with Latitude. My daughter loves the team which is great because it means she looks forward to updose appointments. We’re lucky to have them in Marin!
This is our second allergist and we are so grateful to have found a local office that is willing to administer oral immunotherapy. Our 15 month old is on the way to peanut freedom and I couldn’t be happier.
