Stay away. I have lived in four apartment buildings in the DC metro area over the last five years, and Latitude is far away the worst property yet. While the front desk staff have been extremely pleasant and friendly, this building in the property managers have some serious issues to resolve. First in for most, a fire alarm should not be going off three times in a week at an apartment building were hundreds of people live. WARNING: STAY AWAY! This building looks nice from the outside, but it is easily the most poorly managed apartment building that I have ever lived in. There is nothing luxury about this place. And it is not worth the price at all. These people repaired a leaking pipe in my bathroom with duck tape. The windows are not sealed properly so I have to raise the heat to 75+ degrees for the apartment to feel like 68 degrees. I can not wait for my lease to end. This is the main reason for my review. We had 2 non-working elevators for almost 5 months and also we had a neighbor smoking in his apartment for 2 months, and there was little visible action from the management, and not only that we were sleeping with the smell of the smoke and waking up from 2 am to 5 am because we were unable to sleep because of the horrible smell and not only that, all of our clothing in the closet had the smell of cigarettes.
