I’ve seen the work of the Latina Safehouse staff front and center helping victims of domestic become survivors! Their programs help women and children find their way out of DV through counseling, assisting with rent, food and transportation needs, help with navigating through all the legal matters and more! I have volunteered with them to help keep these programs going and will continue to do so to help their survivors feel safe and ready to step out on their own!

Everyone deserves to feel safe, and the services provided by Latina Safehouse do just that. I've had the pleasure of working with them on several fundraising opportunities, and I am always inspired by their efforts.

I love helping others in need because I would hope others would do the same for me. I’m half Peruvian and half Ukrainian. My parents didn’t come from much and I love how Latina SafeHouse focuses in on this population and provides bilingual culturally sensitive services to those victimized by domestic violence. They give these survivors hope again and help them rebuild their lives with a brighter future.
