My husband went and visited his sister and her family a few months back. He took the metro north train into Poughkeepsie. As he waited for his sister to pick him up he walked around and found this establishment. He got chicken, Mac and cheese, greens etc… he was in love. He talked about this food for months!! Called when they first opened to see if they did take out trays. Guy who answered was rude for no reason. Decided to give it a second chance a few weeks later and doors were locked with the lights off 15 minutes after they supposedly open. Then as I sat in my car another guy walks in about 10 minutes later. After about 30 seconds he walks out and leaves. ??? At least stand on business if your going to be rude. Smh.

It's a nice establishment for Poughkeepsie. Great tourist location, close to the Metro. The food was tasty. It would be cool if there was a friendly greeing upon entering. Wasn't sure where to go or do I wait.

Really well cooked food !!!!! Definitely will be returning..Collard greens , beef empanadas and pork ribs were delicious !!
