No longer just passing through – Since this place is conveniently located right next to the parking deck, I used to just cruise through here on my way to Old Town. It always smelled good inside, so one day I browsed around and bought some hair products. Turns out everything's made from natural and wholesome ingredients. Lather hair products now serve as an alternative to my Aveda conditioners and styling products.
Make sure you schedule a mani/pedi – I have been using and loving Lather products for at least 5 years. A must for everyone is the AHA hand creme and the Bamboo Lemongrass scrub. After that, it's up to you. They'll make custom blended bath and body products for you with real essential oils. In my opinion Lather makes the best body scrubs of anyone and I've tried dozens. fun suds – I had the pleasure of meeting the owner-founder of Lather a few years back. Her reason for starting the company? "I just really, really like good soap!" Well, me too. Perennial faves = the green tea, brown sugar and clove soaps, the green tea and clove candles, and the amaaaazing Bulgarian Rose facial spray (my mom stockpiles it for the moisture boost and glow it gives her skin.) Best soap around! – I love their clove soap, peppermint candles and teatree products!!! The staff is usually very friendly and not too pushy, and they let you try whatever you want. The candles are great too! One of the best shops in Olde Town.
