Excellent food but bring your appetite or share like my wife and I did as the portions are very plentiful. The decor is amazing and if the lodge across the street is anything like the restaurant, which I’m sure that it is will also exceed your expectations. The Spearfish waterfall is .35 miles or .7 miles round trip from the restaurant parking lot. You can see the top of the falls is about 200 yards from the parking lot.
Ordered the prime rib sandwich (only meal I had since breakfast) 4 hours later I'm puking and my stomach is cramping and have the chills. Definitely got food poisoning from this place. Especially since the puke was shredded beef. The sandwich was okay eating it but there was something off. Staff was friendly and attentive I just wish I didn't get sick eating here especially for my last day of vacation being spent throwing up in the hotel.
Excellent meal in a perfect Spearfish canyon setting. Our meals were cooked perfectly. Thank you!
