Dr. Mechtler is one of the finest doctors and human beings I've ever known in my entire life. If it wasn't for him helping to get me properly diagnosed this past January, 2023, I would still be misdiagnosed while receiving continuous, unnecessary surgeries from an incompetent and arrogant orthopedist at another practice. I am so grateful and thankful to have been seen by Dr Mechtler. He is not only a brilliant well respected doctor, but he is a beautiful human being on the inside and out! He has so much empathy and a wonderful sense of humor that set me at ease. He spoke a language I could understand and spent a lot of time with me. Does not listen to patient’s concerns. Suggested new migraine preventive meds which I did try, and they do help. But before I knew these new preventive drugs would really work he refused to refill my life-saving pain med of 41 years because it can cause rebound headaches. He did not believe me when I told him I had experienced a second day of a migraine no more than a few times in all those years of using this med.
