After Mac's Marina cancelled me; I scampered and called "Last Resort" Marina so to speak. Luckily I had a "Strong Verbal Commitment " with James .. He doesn't take credit card , but luckily he stood with his commitment on his business in his most "Hill Billy " kind of way.. Though his pontoon is a very poor condition.., upholstery is mangled , holes, equipped with 75 hp Mercury Engine, has no sonar (you will need sonar for the dirty Pontiac Lake Water) and no radio.. but it did not fail in the middle of the lake and got us t... read more
Last Resort Marina is a great place to rent boats from!! Our family has gone there for years and have always had friendly service from the owner. The boats are very nice and we have never had a problem with them plus they seat up to 10 people. We now have many friends that go to Last Resort Marina and rent boats for their day on Pontiac Lake. I went there about 9:39 am on 6-19-13 and nobody was there that i could tell so I called the # on the sign and left a message that I was in the yard and wanted to set up a pontoon rental for 1 day in july. about 20 or 30 minutes later a guy comes out of the office and says what the f*** are you doing in my yard? Every time I visit the Last Resort Marina is more fun than the last. The owners are so nice and friendly, whether you are renting a boat or just sitting and watching the water they treat you family. I have seen them provide sweatshirts or jackets to several people that didn’t come prepared to be out on the water. I have never had a problem using one of their boats and recommend this marina to everyone. I can’t wait until my next visit to Last Resort Marina!!
I live in Ohio, when my family travels to Michigan we always go to Last Resort Marina..The owners are always polite and conscientious. It's a good time and good memories at the lake thanks to Last Resort Marina.
You will have the time of your life. The owners are very nice, they show you every thing you need to know about the boat you are renting and make sure you understand. I will go back each time I want to go out on Pontiac Lake. If you are looking for a wonderful time you will want to rent from Last Resort Marina.
Had a great time on Pontiac Lake with this rental. great place to rent for the weekend quake on the lake. great party barge We had a lil problem with the boat, but when I called they came right out and get it straight again. They even towed another stranded boat to the shore, so these other people could use their slip to get the boat out of the water.
