I went in for the LASIK procedure last month and I have to say, I'm pretty satisfied with my results. I didn't throw away my contacts right away because I didn't know if the surgery was going to work out too well. Turns out, I really don't need them anymore. The only thing I miss from my old blind days are the itchy, red eyes from using contacts--not! I definitely recommend to all my contact users out there.
People always look for contacts as an alternative to glasses and so did I. Thing is, now that I'm older I decided to get LASIK because it seems more convenient. Turns out, it really worked! The surgery has made my morning routine faster. The only downside to the surgery is having to stay indoors with those weird glasses for a few days. But hey, I won't complain about not going to work for a few days.
Just got Lasik done at Laser Eye Center. Very happy to not have to be wearing glasses all the time. Will be so much better on the road. Staff was great, so was the doctor. Would recommend to anyone.
Just got my eyes done at Laser Eye Center, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Everyone on the staff was really welcoming and made me feel extremely comfortable with the procedure. My results were exactly what I was looking for - 20/20 vision! Would recommend these guys to anyone.
Awesome that this surgery exists. I recommend researching what exactly you want done, there's so many things! bladeless, blade, etc. I went with Laser Eye Center because there was a promotion on groupon. I probably should have researched more places, but they did the job and I can see clearly now!
I purchased the amazon deal for the lasik. I guess I didn't read the fineprint correctly, but the deal was for LASIK with a blade. I didn't realize there were so many types. In the end it was no big deal. I can see and have had no complications.
I researched LASIK off and on over the years before I came to the decision to get the procedure. I heard great things about Laser Eye Center from friends and family that all turned out to be true. I made the best choice and I am loving my clear vision!
For graduation I got LASIK as my present rather than a typical car. It's awesome being able to see what time it is on the alarm clock automatically after waking up. Now I don't worry about falling asleep with my glasses on and potentially breaking them. My vision is the best gift I've ever been given!
Laser Eye Center has multiple locations and one happens to be right by where I live! It was very convenient to be able to walk to my consultation. The receptionist and other staff were friendly and helpful. It was a bit busy, but that’s a good sign for any business! My surgery went just as smoothly as my consultation. Dr. Shammas was a professional and obviously skilled in what he does. I walked in not being able to see and walked out a new person it feels like!
