I went in for the LASIK procedure last month and I have to say, I'm pretty satisfied with my results. I didn't throw away my contacts right away because I didn't know if the surgery was going to work out too well. Turns out, I really don't need them anymore. The only thing I miss from my old blind days are the itchy, red eyes from using contacts--not! I definitely recommend to all my contact users out there.
I purchased the amazon deal for the lasik. I guess I didn't read the fineprint correctly, but the deal was for LASIK with a blade. I didn't realize there were so many types. In the end it was no big deal. I can see and have had no complications.

I have had glasses since I was 13 and my eyesight was getting worse every year! I am 22 now and after my last trip to the doc I decided I had had enough and decided to get lasik. I went to Laser Eye Center for the consultation and the surgery. I am so psyched to be done with glasses and contacts! Thank you Laser Eye Center!
I recently came into some money from a family member who died. In honor of their memory I decided to treat myself to improving my own life and living it to the fullest. My first step was to correct my vision. It’s always been horrible and such a burden. LASIK fixed this right up! I had my procedure done at Laser Eye Center, where the staff treated me well and were very informative about the surgery. I like knowing what I’m getting myself into! Now I can also see clearly what I’m getting into!

After I got LASIK I happily threw my contact case, solution, eye glasses, eye glass cases, cleaning wipes all into a box to never be seen again in the attic! Good riddance. I have less things to pack now for any trip, I can probably fit an extra pair of shoes into my luggage where those items would have been! It's crazy how quickly you go from bad vision to perfect sight overnight is simply astonishing.
